I enjoyed the Umineko anime. I first watched it before I started the VNs but rewatched it after I finished the first four VN episodes. They did cut out a lot, though. Also there are some errors like the anime referencing an event that didn't happen in the anime like the viewer was supposed to know about it and I think there was also a Red Text contradiction. They also left out a line that would become critical in one of the later VN episodes but I guess they couldn't have predicted that.

If you understand what you are getting into and want more Umineko material to consume, I don't think it's that bad a choice. The characters being voice acted is also a plus but I guess there's a voice patch for the VN these days. There's no English dub, though.

You get enough stamina over 2 weeks to get to 100000 points via Hard 5 with a 1.4x bonus unit. If you only have a 1.2x bonus unit then you need to do Lunatic 5.

Tempest Trial Zelgius can also come with no weapon. It seems like there was a coding error somewhere regarding the random generation of Zelgius's weapon.

I got my Valentines Lilina fairly easily. I wish she was a better unit than she is considering normal Lilina isn't that good either. I think she really needs Gronnblade+ to be effective but it will be a very long time before I can get one for her.

FMA:B already got 64 episodes. I wouldn't really say they were stingy with episode count. I know the first few episodes before the divergence point were rushed but were they are particular problems after that? I've never read the manga to compare.

Smash 4 also has a very high number of entrants and stream viewership which makes it hard to cut. SSBM and SSB4 are both very popular and neither one is way more popular than the other which creates problems with trying to choose just one.

Megasmilax is actually after Belome 2. Unfortunately, I don't recall what my Dodo 3 fight was like without equipment or items so I'm not really sure how hard it was. Keep in mind I could level up as much as I want so it's possible I overlevelled to make up for the lack of equipment. Actually, I think I probably had to level up a lot to overpower Megasmilax so I must have still been overlevelled by the time I fought Dodo.

To be clear when I said I was doing it kind of a low leveled it's not in a disciplined way or anything. Just not killing every enemy in sight like I normally. I'm at Belome 2 around level 11, and it's the first boss that I actually couldn't beat after two or three tries because he just spams party-wide sleep spells (decided not to use accessories because it felt too cheap at first but now it feels cheap for the boss!)

It wasn't a low level run but I've done a challenge where I didn't use any equipment or items. There's actually a boss later on that can completely lock you down if you have no status protection at all.

Megasmilax is set to use Petal Blast every 3 turns. Every time you get hit by it, the status counter resets. It can miss but the attack is pretty accurate. If you don't have status protection, your entire party gets turned into Mushrooms forever.

If you want Hector, I think the best play is to vote for Brave Ike. If Brave Ike makes the Top four poll, he will LFF with Legendary Ike which gives Hector a chance to take first place. Ideally, PoR Ike join in as well as it is Hector vs Ike v Ike vs Ike but that's not a very likely set up. This strategy is a bit risky since it might mean Hector won't make Top 4. However, if Hector was on the borderline, he probably doesn't have a chance to win anyways.
